We’re thrilled to share that the big moment is almost here—our new playground installation is just around the corner! But before we get there, we’ve got one last weekend to enjoy the current playground equipment. If you’ve made some great memories there (or your kids have), now’s the time to stop by and give it one last swing!
Playground Demo & Closure
Demo of the existing playground will begin on Thursday and Friday, May 1–2, and the area will be closed from May 1–10 for safety during the installation process.
Footings Installation
The amazing team at Play Creation will be on-site to install the new playground footings during the week of May 5–9.
We Need Your Help – Volunteer Install Day!
The real magic happens on Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (or until we’re done!), and this is where we need you!
We’ll be unwrapping and assembling the playground equipment, moving the landscape barriers around the perimeter, and spreading wood chips into the play area—plus other hands-on tasks to bring this space to life! If you’re available to lend a hand, please add your name to our Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet. We’ll have refreshments on hand to keep everyone fueled and smiling throughout the day.
Even if you can’t make it in person, we’re also looking for tools and equipment to help out. You can drop them off Saturday morning between 8:00–10:00 AM and pick them up Saturday afternoon between 3:00–4:30 PM—just make sure everything is clearly labeled so it gets back to you safely!
Playground Opens Sunday, May 11
The new playground should be open for play starting Sunday, May 11! We can’t wait for families to enjoy this refreshed space.
